The Bulgarian Seal Point Angelfish is a striking and relatively new variety of freshwater angelfish, scientifically known as Pterophyllum scalare.
🐟 Appearance

- Fins: Long, flowing dorsal and ventral fins give it a graceful, elegant appearance.
- Size: Adults typically reach 6–8 inches in height, including fin extensions.
🌍 Origin
- This is a hybrid variety developed through selective breeding in the aquarium trade, not found in the wild.
🧬 Genetics
- It is derived from Black Angelfish, but a unique gene suppresses the black pigmentation on the body, leaving a platinum sheen with contrasting dark fins.

🌿 Tank Setup
- Prefers well-planted tanks with floating plants, driftwood, and hiding spots.
- Requires moderate to strong filtration but avoid strong currents.
